ReplyDeleteTaeyang doesn't see to be in the shape he used to be during his solo time, Daesung still has abs, Seungri was well built during Strong baby era but I think he's been slacking off LOL, GD has always been skinny expect for his solos when he develops crazy muscles out of nowhere, and the only thing I now is right now he has quite muscular arms, and TOP, well he said he's been training hard for the movie he's shooting ("sculpting his body" to quite an article LOL) but tbh it feels odd to think about him having killer abs like Daesung, he just doesn't seem like the type, but who knows.

ReplyDeleteWhat Western beauty standards? Perceptions of beauty doesn't differ that much across the world, you know. A 'Westerner' would still find someone like Donghae more attractive than Daesung. A tall, sharp nose and large deep-set eyes are still the common standard when it comes to beauty, though overall it all comes down to proportion.

That's right. Big Bang earned their fame with their talent and music instead of relying on pretty looks. And they did this in Korea, where EVERYTHING is about looks. Hopes this inspires more talented individuals w/o model looks (and don't want to invest in a new face) to go for their dreams.
